In response to the global shortage of healthcare professionals, Mediclinic and ER24 have launched an initiative granting limited bursary opportunities to promising students. This educational support is aimed at those pursuing vital healthcare fields such as Nursing, Pharmacist, and Emergency Medical Care. Interested candidates have until July 31, 2025, to apply for these coveted spots.

Recognizing the critical need for skilled healthcare workers, Mediclinic is offering financial aid to students looking to make a difference in these essential fields. As part of the application process, candidates are required to provide their Grade 11 or 12 results if they’re enrolling for the first year, while those in later years must submit their program results to date.

Preference will be extended to Employment Equity candidates, aligning with Mediclinic Southern Africa’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity in the workforce. Applicants will also be assessed based on their financial needs, making this an ideal opportunity for students who require financial assistance to fulfill their educational aspirations.

To be eligible, applicants must show proof of acceptance or registration in a recognized institution offering the intended program. This thoughtful initiative aims to empower students, providing them with the financial support necessary to join the healthcare workforce, an industry pivotal to community wellbeing globally.

Ronell Morrick, the recruiter overseeing this initiative, emphasizes the importance of supporting aspiring healthcare professionals, stating, “This bursary is not just about financial support; it’s about investing in a healthier future for everyone.”

Applicants are encouraged to join Mediclinic’s Talent Community to stay informed about relevant opportunities that match their skills and experiences. By leveraging modern platforms such as LinkedIn, potential candidates can streamline the application process, ensuring a seamless journey towards contributing to the healthcare industry.
